For Road and Race Motorcycles

We started back in the 1980s working on TZ350s and TZ250s for road racer Dean Robinson.  After this we moved on to the Suzuki RG500 competing at National and European levels.  Other names on the grid along side Dean were the likes of Roger Marshall, Roger Burnett, Keith Hewin, Steve Parish etc.  These were the years of 'real racing' on machines designed for the race track not the roads.

The next move for PJW Race-Prep was helping Alice Racing with their KTMs in the British Supermoto Championship.  The main riders for the team were David Jackson and Adam Marshall (son of Roger Marshall).  Other names on the grid along side the boys were Matt Winstanley, Christian Iddon, Leighton Haigh and Sam Warren etc.

We then moved in to the world of British School Boy Motocross - what a world that is!!  It has to be said that the majority of those kids racing in school boy motocross are there to live their father's dreams and not their own!  All said and done, this makes for an extremely competitive and exciting sport.

School boy motocross riders we have helped on the way are Luke Burton for Alice Racing who then went on to become a PJW Race-Prep rider.  Luke was an extremely talented rider, probably one of the best in his class.  Luke rode at British National level amongst the likes of Ashley Greedy, Luke Remmer, Scott Elderfield, Stephen Clark, Josh Waterman, most of whom have been beaten at some point by Luke.

Club level school boy motocross in association with Moggstar was another area we have worked in.  Budding riders such as Luke Morgan, Christian Lyth, Jack Friel and Aaron Would.  Most riders were on KTMs ranging from the fantastic 50cc auto, 65cc up to 85cc machines.

British Grasstrack is another area we work with.  We have developed a modification that basically moves the gear lever to the opposite side, leaving the riders left leg free.

*** Our star rider that we sponsor at present is Joe Lawler, at just 9 years old he already has an impressive CV and trophy cabinet. ***

Track Days at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire is where we can be found too.  Even though track days are fun and not racing, the bikes still need to be maintained and prepared meticulously.

Road bikes.  Plenty of people buy and ride top machines for the public roads but not everyone is happy to get their hands dirty.  We modify bikes as customers request but also help with ideas on how to get the most out of their machines.

We also enjoy project bikes.  Ranging from CR500 motocross conversion to CR500 supermoto, Italjet Dragster 125 cc show bikes.  Anything goes!

In summary - if it has two wheels and an engine - we can work wonders with it!
